BIOETHICS AND ORTHODOXY

[8-24-98, updated 20030628]

The attitudes of the Orthodox toward bioethical issues--contraception, procreative technologies, abortion, cloning, helping the dying to die in peace (vs. euthanasia)--are discussed by the Revd. John Breck in "Bioethical dilemmas and Orthodoxy" (St. Vlad3mir's theological quarterly, 1998, 42:2, pp. 171-187).    The author, who is described as running a retreat center in South Carolina, is writing a book on the subject.
